Well... I turned down the job in New York - so it looks like this visit will be a long one!! But how long....?

Back in L.A. again!! Let the clock start ticking to see how long this visit lasts...

The dreaded north-bound traffic wasn't too horrible. We managed to plan wisely with the leaving... But we didn't leave San Diego without going by the wonderful Hotel Del Coronado!!

San Diego, California....

Reportedly over 110,000 people attended Comic-Con today. Wowza. So far - so fun!! Attended many panel discussions, mucho Sci-Fi geekdom from yours truly, and even a couple of useful writing oriented seminars!!

But to top it all off - had dinner at the famous Bali Hai!! Wow... Got the Mr. Bali Hai mug. Super cool...

It's late. It's dark. It's the perfect time for Robin to once again leave L.A. Is she headed to New York? Oh, no, that would be expected!

She's headed to San Diego for *dramatic Sting* COMIC-CON!!! Yes, it's true. She, Sea, Mark and Chris are going to Geekfest 2005 to network, schmooze and shop. Yeee-haaaa!!!

Okay, so this isn't about where I am, but what I'm doing. First, I'm enjoying the new, smaller "Ha Ha Quaker." Second - well, asking this question:

How many times in your life do you get the chance to make a window-sized Nighttime Sky "curtain" (complete with stars and exchangeable Moon/Earth) and then send it to Barrow, Alaska - above the Artic Circle - to deliver poor souls from Summer's Eternal Day??
Answer: If you're me - one! (Somehow, I just think that's ssssoooo cool....)

Okay... so now it's the 6th of July - and yes, I am back in LaLa Land once again. For how long? Only the Sloth knows....

And now Robin (and Seamus!) fly back to L.A. on what could essentially be called their host airline - Jet Blue. The plane is called 'Bippity, Boppity Blue.' How appropriate...

It's just after 9 pm - and we've managed to squeeze 9 full-sized adults (okay, 8 full-sized and me) through the window in the stairwell. And now it's fireworks, fireworks, fireworks!!!!
